Whether at home or on the go, a foldable changing pad is a secret weapon. For me, it allowed me the freedom to change my baby wherever I was in my house. I didn’t have to be tied down to a specific location or go to a stationary changing table for each diaper change. Also, I could simply throw it in the diaper bag without having to worry about where I was if a diaper needed to be changed.
Use
Because of its versatility, the changing pad can be used for many things beyond just diaper changes. It’s great for when you need to put the baby down and don’t want to put them directly on a surface. Also, it could provide a layer of protection in public bathrooms or other wary places.
Design options
The outside can be made into any cotton material, so the choices are almost endless. The inner waterproof layer can be made into standard colors. I chose an African print outer design since it was fun, gender neutral, and fit with my aesthetic. For the inside, I chose light tan. This was great because it doesn’t show many stains and it matched my outer fabric, although pretty much any color except probably white would work well here.
